Town Mayor

The Town of Coal Creek's Mayor is the chief administrator and appointed by the public and/or council. Listed below are just a few of the responsibilities.

• Oversees the town's administrative functions, including policy development and implementation. 
• Creates and proposes the annual budget, along with the Town Clerk. 
• Proposes policies to the council and break ties. 
• Ensures that laws, ordinances, and contracts are followed. 
• Represents the town to the public, acting as a liaison and advocate. 
• Runs monthly meetings.
